How does Faircasso work?

    Final reminder without collection costs

    Faircasso sends out the final payment reminder on behalf of a number of organisations, in which case Faircasso does not charge collection costs, interest, and VAT. If payment is not received within 21 days after receipt of this letter, unfortunately, you will also have to pay collection costs, interest, and VAT.

    Messages: mail, email, SMS & WhatsApp

    You may receive letters, emails, SMS messages and WhatsApp messages from us. They detail your payment arrears, the collection costs you might have to pay, and your deadline for payment. We hope to get in touch with you to find a solution.

    Calls at different times of the day

    If we do not hear back from you, we will call you. We will ring you at different times of the day (during the day, in the evening, and on Saturdays) to improve chances we get hold of you.

    Home visits

    If we cannot reach you by phone, we will visit you at home (during the day, in the evening, or on a Saturday). Personal interaction is an important part of our service. Our home visitors are motivated and trained to help people with debt.

    Help with debts, free of charge

    Are you indebted and tired of making ends meet? Debt can happen to anyone, and the reason is unimportant to us. We gladly help you find a way out, free of charge. Call 010 7900 632, send an email to schuldhulp@faircasso.nl, or send a WhatsApp message to 06 21306984.

    Prevent bailiff

    It is important that you contact us as soon as possible so we can find a solution together. Like this, we can help you become debt-free and prevent additional debt. Should all our efforts to get in contact with you fail, unfortunately, we may have to transfer your case to a bailiff.

I want to pay

There are three ways to make your payment:

1. Pay directly by filling out your details on this page and completing the payment with iDEAL.

2. You can transfer the amount to Faircasso’s bank account: NL31 INGB 000 6580524. Please provide your case number.

3. You can pay with cash at our office’s front desk in Rotterdam. Our address is Schiedamsedijk 48B, 3011 ED in Rotterdam. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:30, Thursday 8:30-20:00.

I cannot pay

If you cannot pay, we will gladly look for a solution together with you. Call 010 7900 632 or send an email to debiteuren@faircasso.nl.

I need help

Why do I need to pay collection costs?

It is legally established that when a payment arrears are transferred to a collection agency, collection costs are charged. * This is stated in Article 6:96 in the Dutch Civil Code. You have to pay these costs because a payment arrears entails administrative work. These costs are covered by the collection costs. The table below shows the maximum percentage of the collection costs.

* Before a payment arrears are transferred to a collection agency, a reminder is sent to pay the payment without collection costs.
