Fair and smart debt collection
We didn't learn social debt collection; it's in our DNA. It's how we think, how we work, who we are. We're constantly innovating to ensure our services and results are even better.
Costs
We don't work with "no cure, no pay" or "kick-back" schemes. Honest debt collection yields more for you as the client and leads to lower costs for the debtor. To achieve this, we go the extra mile. For this, we charge a fixed fee per claim. The amount of this fee depends on the number of assignments and the expected result.
Collection process
We utilize smart workflows, send letters by mail and email, and utilize text messaging and logical digital payment solutions. In addition, our debt collection officers and home visitors are also debt counselors. They know everything about debt and are trained to talk to people experiencing significant stress. They are given genuine time to build trust. Everything needed to find a solution! On the other hand, a bailiff is rarely needed. This represents a significant cost savings, especially for the client.
Home visits
We do everything we can to avoid a bailiff, but if there's still no contact after several weeks of writing, calling, and even a home visit, we forward the claim to our bailiff. Before legal proceedings begin, we check with the bailiff whether there are any debts, other attachments, sufficient income, or other social issues. If there are financial or social reasons not to summon, we won't do so. We are very strict about this. However, if the debtor is able to pay but just refuses to, we take action.
IT
Do you have only a small number of non-paying customers? Then Faircasso Online is the platform where you can upload and monitor your claim. You can also submit payments or comments here. Do you have hundreds of outstanding claims per month? With a custom-built API or interface, we share all your data with you daily. We collaborate with top IT partners to deliver secure, yet state-of-the-art IT solutions quickly.
Debt assistance
Our primary mission is that within a few years, every creditor and debt collection agency will be collecting debts fairly. We want to achieve this by setting a good example and being transparent about how we do it. Follow our example! Together, we'll make a much greater impact. Unfortunately, we're not there yet, and in the meantime, we also want to help as many people with debt as possible. We fund these activities from our profits. So, you, as the client, don't pay directly for Faircasso's debt relief services. However, the social impact we achieve benefits you, the client.
Everyone who works at Faircasso is also a debt counselor and volunteers a few hours a week to help debtors through the collection process resolve all their debts. In addition to our own staff, we also use external volunteers. And so the circle is complete. Pay it forward!
Faircasso's additional services
Naturally, you'd prefer to postpone an external debt collection process for as long as possible. To retain customers and prevent this, we offer several simple solutions focused on sustainable payment methods.
Memories
We'll automatically send friendly reminders for you, by mail, email, and text message. We receive payments, process them, and, if necessary, discuss and manage payment arrangements. Need to speak to someone in person? Our phone team is ready to assist.
Calling campaigns
If written reminders don't work, we'll call. We consider this perfectly normal. We listen attentively and politely ask the right questions. We investigate why payments are outstanding and whether there's a risk of recurrence. We offer debt assistance and, of course, look for ways to quickly arrange payment.
Home visits
Optimal personal contact is, of course, face-to-face. Every day, our home visitors—casually dressed and in a modest car—set out to rebuild trust. It's a little nerve-wracking at first, but our home visitors always initiate a safe dialogue and quickly reduce stress levels. Payers are often touched because we're not just there to take something away, but also to give something back.
