Training By telephone Collect
This training is intended for employees and managers responsible for the corporation's debt collection results and who are looking for theoretical frameworks and practical tools to improve their communication skills when collecting debts by phone. Level: for beginners and advanced users.
Contents
During this training, you'll learn how to recognize different behaviors from your tenants and how to transform them into constructive behavior. The goal is to work with the debtor to reach a mutually agreed-upon solution.
Topics
The following topics will be covered during this training:
- Communication process and conversation structure;
- Beeldvorming;
- Recognising and dealing with the different types of debt;
- Early detection;
- Motivational interviewing;
- The perspective for the debtor.
Form
The training consists of theory and practical exercises. To ensure the exercises are as closely aligned with real-world situations as possible, we use practical situations provided by the participants beforehand. This helps participants identify with the connection between theory and practice.
Result
After completing the training:
- Are you able to apply the 'Motivational Interviewing' method in your conversation skills?
- You have learned to arrive at a perspective together with the debtor that leads to constructive solutions for both parties with a sustainable result.
Lecturer
The trainer is Roman Talman . Roman has extensive experience as a trainer, coach, and manager at various banks, insurance companies, and other institutions in the field of customer contact and accounts receivable management. He specializes in interpersonal communication in people-oriented organizational change.

Participation costs
The participation fee for the Telephone Debt Collection Training is €515 per participant, excluding VAT and parking fees. This includes coffee/tea, a simple lunch, and a documentation folder.
Additional options
Socially Responsible Debt Collection goes beyond communication and knowledge. Developing a vision for a different debt collection policy is also very important. If desired, we can organize vision sessions for board members, managers, and employees.
This training can be expanded with a coaching program. This allows the knowledge and skills learned in the training to be periodically tested and discussed in practice.
