Want to check costs yourself?

If you don't pay an invoice or pay it late, you may have to pay collection fees. The law stipulates the maximum amount of these collection fees.

The minimum collection costs are €40.

If your bill is more than €267 but less than €2,500, you must pay 15% of your outstanding balance.

Above €2,500 the percentage becomes increasingly lower.

Sometimes you have to pay 21% VAT on collection costs. This is because the company you're paying doesn't have to pay VAT. For example, you often don't have to pay VAT on rent or tuition fees.

Sending a bailiff would cost hundreds of euros, so we prefer not to do so. If you'd like to know exactly what the legal costs are, you can find more information here.

More information about debt collection costs can be found at schuldinfo.nl and on the government website.

It's complicated and involves a lot of information. If you don't understand or have a question, please call us at010-7900632. We're happy to help.

Faircasso works honestly!

That works better. For everyone. An outstanding bill isn't just about money. It's best resolved when you have the time. And preferably without extra high costs. That way, you're better served, and so are the people you have to pay. That's only fair.
